So I'm no big Hot Wheels collector by any means. Once every half a year or so, I'll buy a random one here or there, but aside from my collection of probably 300-400 that served to turn me into a toddler-gearhead which are currently laying in a big bin somewhere, I only have a handful. Recently, I was at an ALMS raceday at Limerock park, and found this cool little Hot Wheels Javelin in one of the paddock shops. Behind it, there was also a '69 Camaro done in Sunoco livery behind it. I decided to opt for the Javelin, considering the sweet Donohue livery and the fact that I love the Javelin as a whole. I bought it despite the fact that it cost $8 (it's just a hot wheels with fancy paint and rubber wheels!) and it has sat on my desk, out of the package, ever since.
Fast forward to five minutes ago, when the Oppo fascination with die cast led me to google search and find what other famous race cars were available in this ultra-realistic Hot Wheels form. Upon finding that they made a BRE-livery Datsun 510, and so I headed over to Ebay. And wouldn't you know it, my over-priced Javelin is apparently worth $50-70 in box. Very Naiceee.
*on a separate note, it is pristine and up for trades to anyone who has the BRE Datsun

I love this AMC. AMCs are my favorite american brand. Sick Javelin though, Ill look out for it.

Hot Wheels do nothing for me, BUT a '71 Javelin in AMX Trans Am dress is pretty damn cool. If I saw that thing for sale for normal money I'd be all over it.

Nice javelin! I have a few AMCs but none is awesome race livery like that. I always prefer a race livery over the street car.
I don't have a BRE Datsun, but I do have this 510 Bluebird (2 actually so one of them is up for trade, I think the other one is white)

Yeah, I googled them before posting to see if I could help you out. I think mine are just generic hot wheels livery, but I'll check my white one and see if it's BRE.
How not cheap are they? If it makes ya happy, maybe it's worth it.

Well, this is the only one on ebay right now...

$75 is just too much to justify for a Hot Wheels, at least in my opinion

It is a beaut, but $75 is pretty steep for a hot wheels. Keep an eye on the loose lots, maybe you'll spot one in a crowd and snatch it up cheap.
